Economic Impact Study

What We’re Doing
The MacArthur Business Alliance is conducting an Economic Impact Study focused on the business community within approximately a 5-mile radius of Long Island MacArthur Airport. We have engaged Camoin Associates to perform the study, with the support of the Suffolk County Economic Development Corporation, and Town of Islip.
Why We’re Doing It
To further our mission of fostering collaboration and driving regional development! This study will assess our area's economic, social, and community contributions including job creation, revenue generation, and tax impacts, while identifying opportunities for strategic growth, workforce development, and infrastructure enhancements. The findings will help guide development strategies, and ultimately put us on the map as a vital economic asset to Long Island!

Rachel Selsky, CEO of Camoin Associates spoke about her firm & the value they bring to projects just like this one, and our very own Catherine Fee spoke on behalf of the Economic Impact Study Committee & their hard work & diligence throughout this process.
